Reading, England – 7th April 2017 – The inaugural Reading Cultural Awards will celebrate the best artistic and cultural events, organisations and artists in Reading and the important role that arts and culture play in making Reading a great place to live, work and do business.
There are 12 award categories available for submissions and we are putting ourselves forward for – Cultural Organisation of the Year. The awards states that this organisation will have demonstrated consistently high standards in terms of output and engagement. And we believe we have done exactly that over many years, supporting young, talented performing arts students to reach their potential.
We take great pride in supporting our students, the performing arts community and all cultural activities in Reading, such as arranging Craig Revel Horwood to speak at the Reading Year of Culture event last year. We try to be as active in the community as possible and give talented people a ‘leg up’ in life.

Deadlines for nominations are Friday 12th May. The short list will be announced on 25th May. The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday 29th June 2017 at The Olympia Ballroom.
