Student Hardship Fund

We are always fundraising for the Student Hardship Fund and any donation of any amount will be gratefully received, and will go directly to support the training and development of one of our talented and deserving young people. All students assisted by the Hardship Fund have been put through rigorous means testing so you can be assured that you donations will go directly to those who need help the most. Sponsored Events for Read College

Considering doing something crazy? Running a marathon, bungee jumping, sky diving… Do it for Read College! If you are doing any ‘sponsor-able’ event from singing to cycling then you can fund raise directly for us by using VirginMoneyGiving.com. Virgin Money gives the sponsorship money directly to the charity on your behalf, including claiming Gift Aid on behalf of UK tax payers. You can easily set up a profile page on VirginMoneyGiving.com for your event and just select ‘Read Dance and Theatre College’ as your chosen charity.

Online shopping – raise money for FREE!

It’s incredibly simple to set up, just go to www.easyfundraising.org.uk and follow these simple steps:

• On the main page click on “Support a good cause”
• Search for Read Dance and Theatre College and confirm “Support this cause”
• You will be asked to fill in your name, email address and create a password.
• You will then be asked if you wish your donations to include Gift Aid.
• You can then choose to receive a Donation reminder, which you may or may not wish to do.

Once your account is set up, each time you do some on line shopping just go to “easy fundraising” first and then from that website go to your usual retailer and shop as normal. There are nearly 3000 retailers to choose from with all the big names, like Amazon, John Lewis, Tesco, M&S, Next and many more. Each time you shop you will be raising money for the college without paying a penny extra.
