5-Day Musical Theatre Summer School - Dates in August 2012 TBC
Our annual Musical Theatre Summer School at our beautiful lakeside home at the Performing Arts Institute in Reading, gives students aged 14-18 the chance to work with some of our experts tutors and experience what life is like on a full-time Musical Theatre course. Students will develop their knowlege of repertoire and technique in all three musical theatre disciplines and will benefit from the expert advice of our teachers to help them perform and audition with greater professionalism and confidence. Classes during the week will include Ballet, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Singing Technique & Repertoire, and Acting Technique, Repertoire & Improvisation Skills.

3-Day Audition Preparation Course (February Half Term 2012)
The course is designed to help coach students on their audition technique and repertoire. Students will spend their first day working with one of our acting teachers on how to choose audition repertoire, developing character, and working on speeches.
Day two is spent with one of our expert voice coaches looking at sung repertoire, what to sing, what not to sing, and how to maximise your 16 bars.
On day three, students will spend the morning session working with one of our team from the dance faculty looking at how to develop technique, flexibility and style. Then in the afternoon students perform a mock audition in front of a panel made up of the college Directors and visiting members of our Board of Advisors to get some real audition experience and feedback.
