Mark initiated Drama in a secondary school, won a Trainee Theatre Director scholarship and moved to the Bristol Old Vic Company. Subsequent activities include directing nearly 300 productions from’The Seagull’ in the West End to his own Wilde show in California, doubling Derby Playhouse’s attendance figures , heading Guildford School of Acting’s One Year Course , being Artist in Residence at Charterhouse, Wellington and Trent College, running Richmond Drama School and initiating the National Professional Qualifications in Acting, Dance, Musical Theatre and Production Skills for Exam Board Trinity College London. Mark has acted in all media, adapted novels for the stage, co-authored a book on Theatre Studies, worked in 11 leading Theatre Schools and on numerous courses, including 21 years on residential teenagers’ Drama Summer Schools. Nowadays he works at Drama Studio London and with students of 4 American Universities, teaches LAMDA exams and has associations with Esher College, de Montfort University and Kent University
