Eva Maria Blanco

Eva trained at The Arts Educational Schools, Tring Park and has worked as a professional dancer since graduating in 1993. Eva made her West End debut in Tommy Steele’s ‘What a Show!’ at the Prince of Wales theatre, London. Three seasons in Phantasialand, Bruhl, Germany before appearing as principal dancer in Gaudi the Musical in Cologne, Germany. During her time in Germany Eva appeared in Music Videos and Film as featured dancer.

Eva performed in ‘Ovo’ the central arena show in the Millennium Dome in the year 2000 where she learnt static trapeze and had the bruises to prove it!

Eva’s dancing career has taken her around the world touring with Spirit of the Dance. Some memorable theatre credits include dancing in the opening ceremony of the Indian Film Festival, working with Michael Jackson in Germany. Sam Kane, Shane Richie, Hayley Tamaddon, Kev Orkian, Donny and Jimmy Osmond to name but a few. Pantomime credits include working with Russ Abbott in ‘Puss in boots’, Darren Day and Lucy Benjamin both in different performances of Cinderella. Touring the UK on a National tour of ‘Boogie Nights’ the 70’s Musical as Dance Captain and Understudy.

Eva’s choreographic credits include Brittany Ferries for Boogie Managements and pop act  Anthem with Sean Smith of ‘Same Difference’ before his X factor days.

Eva now teaches Dance – Ballet, Tap and Modern dance at Grade and Vocational levels for the RAD and ISTD with a bit of Cheerleading thrown in for good measure. Eva is Principal of Dancers Incorporated in Surrey.
