Course Content

Our intensive foundation course has been running since 2001 and is designed to maximise a student’s chance of getting a funded place at Dance College or Drama School studying Musical Theatre. Our tutors come from many of the top colleges around the country and have current experience of what each of the major colleges are looking for and how best to prepare yourself to audition there. Students train full time from Monday to Friday with a balanced timetable of all three Musical Theatre disciplines. You will be guided on everything from repertoire to presentation, and also advised which courses are right for you. Particular attention is paid to developing the students core techniques in dance, acting and singing and our small class sizes give students unparalleled attention and tuition from our expert teaching faculty.

Our students are also given unique access to advice from industry professionals during the weekly Audition Preparation classes, where visiting tutors will include
members of the audition panels at major dance colleges and drama schools, working professional performers, former students who successfully secured places, and top London casting professionals to help you give the best possible audition.

In the final term of their year, all students are entered for the Associate Diploma in Performing (Musical Theatre) awarded by Trinity College London and accredited at Level 4, equivalent to first-year degree studies.

The course will include tuition in the following areas:

Dance: Ballet, Jazz, Commercial, Musical Theatre, Tap,
Contemporary, Body Conditioning.

Singing: Estill Technique, Private Tuition, Audition
Repertoire, Harmony and Group Work, Music Theory

Acting: Improvisation, Acting and Rehearsal Technique,
Audition Repertoire, Voice, Acting through Song
